Currently, I work with adults and seniors in the Guelph and surrounding communities. I travel to their homes, retirement homes, Long Term Care homes or out in the community for one-to-one sessions that support their personalized goals.
Services: The services I provide depend on the needs of the individual. For some, this might look like Leisure companionship within the home to maintain independence and encourage engagement. For others, there is a specific goal in mind including rehabilitation, learning new or maintaining current skills. Both levels of service provide each person with individualized person-centered programming.

| In need of social stimulating visits for a loved one or respite support for yourself? Are you a care facility looking for additional 1:1 behavioral support for a resident? Leisure companion visits are meant to increase activity engagement and support the socialization of clients living at home, LTC or in a community setting. Providing community integration and participation approaches allow individuals to be independent in their leisure pursuits while also providing caregivers and staff respite. This service can assist with or supervise tasks and outings. In a home setting, activities or services are designed to meet the safety and daily care needs of an individual and are determined in collaboration with clients and families. Activities may include, but are not limited too, preparing meals, going for walks, engaging in hobbies, socializing, shopping, running errands, going to recreation programs, etc. In a care facility setting, 1:1 sessions are geared towards behavioral expression, BSO support and increase engagement within the home safely. Documentation is sent to families via text or email for updates, success and pictures. This service is $45 (HST included) for 1 hour minimum. Visit settings include your home, retirement home, long-term care facility, hospital and more. | Therapy sessions are tailored to each individual through a comprehensive assessment, followed by purposeful goal setting and the implementation of your personalized Recreation Therapy plan. As your RT, I will document activity participation and progress to ensure goals are being met. On a one-to-one basis, we aim to enhance a client’s self-fulfillment, well-being, confidence, joy, and providing opportunities for choice and independence. Noted secondary progress include: fine and gross motor skills, physical fitness, social effectiveness, self-efficacy, memory, community integration, self-awareness, emotional regulation, mood, coordination and more. This service is $85 (HST included) for 1 hour minimum. This includes assessments, travel, supplies and detailed documentation sent to you. |

Payment: Please note that I accept cash, cheque or e-transfer for payment.
My session fees are reimbursable through the Passport funding program for individuals with developmental disabilities, as well as certain benefit plans (like LIUNA Local 183, for example).
